An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled Plumbing Engineer to join a well-established onsite Engineering team within a prestigious environment. This is a hands-on, varied role working across both domestic and commercial infrastructure, offering long-term stability, high standards of workmanship, and the chance to be part of a professional, close-knit engineering function.

The Plumbing Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection and repair of plumbing systems across the estate. The role combines planned preventative maintenance with reactive and emergency response, ensuring all systems remain safe, compliant and operating at peak efficiency. Working as part of an engineering team of approximately 25, and reporting into the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the wider site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance across all plumbing systems
  • Respond promptly and professionally to breakdowns and emergency repairs
  • Diagnose and fault-find across a wide range of domestic and commercial systems
  • Oversee subcontractors during new installations and specialist works
  • Support estate-wide infrastructure including water treatment, pumps and drainage
  • Ensure all works comply with current building regulations and health & safety standards
  • Maintain accurate records through the CMMS system
  • Provide flexible engineering support across the wider team when required
