I’m currently working with a growing specialist consultancy looking to appoint a Senior Team Lead to lead and develop their Consultancy and Project Management teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people manager from a consultancy or professional services background to have a real impact on team performance, development and future growth.
The Role:
- You’ll take responsibility for the performance, development, wellbeing and capacity of a team of 7+ professionals, working closely with senior leadership.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, coaching and developing the team
- Managing performance, wellbeing and career development
- Developing recruitment and workforce plans
- Managing capacity, resourcing and succession planning
- Working closely with Directors and senior stakeholders
- Driving improvements across team performance and culture
This is primarily a people leadership role, rather than a traditional client-utilisation position.
What We're Looking For:
- A number of years' experience, including management of teams of 7+ in Consultancy, professional services or similar background
- Strong coaching and people-development skills
- Experience with recruitment, workforce planning and resourcing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- BSc in a relevant discipline desirable/essential
