Responsibilities
- Develop and manage cyber security policies, procedures, and standards to meet business and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the Cyber Security Board, overseeing cyber risks, strategy, and business-wide security initiatives.
- Work with the outsourced SOC and internal teams to manage threat monitoring, incident response, and Microsoft Sentinel performance.
- Own and manage security platforms including KnowBe4 and Egress, driving user adoption, training, reporting, and secure communication practices.
- Partner across the business to improve cyber awareness, manage risks, ensure compliance (GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2), and oversee third-party security standards.
The Candidate
- Hold relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC or equivalent) demonstrating strong professional standards.
- Bring 5+ years of cybersecurity experience delivering and managing secure systems, processes, and controls.
- Strong technical expertise in threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and SIEM tools (e.g. Splunk, QRadar, Microsoft Sentinel).
- Confident problem-solver with strong decision-making skills, able to perform effectively in high-pressure situations.
- Solid understanding of compliance frameworks (PCI-DSS, HIPAA, SOX) with strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills across teams.
