Peaple Talent has partnered with a Financial Services provider looking for an Automation Engineer. Our client is looking for someone with experience in business testing processes using automation tools.

The Role

Based in Boreham Wood (Hybrid) and be tasked with leading the Automation testing of web applications, maintaining regression test packs, and tracking test automation activities assigned to automation engineers. Report test findings and defects to Scrum team through Jira/Confluence and conduct re-testing of defect fixes, finding ways to enhance and improve the process. Assist and mentor automation engineers to troubleshoot issues. Design and execute clear, concise, and maintainable automated test suites.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience working with Selenium and Java, a good working knowledge of TDD, BDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and preferably experience in financial services. You should also have a background writing BDD frameworks using Cucumber in Gherkin language and experience automating UI tests using Selenium WebDriver with TestNG framework written in Java.
