Peaple Talent has partnered with an audio-visual technology business specializing in video conferencing, audio-visual solutions, hosting, and networking communications, looking for an AV Technical Support Engineer.
Our client is looking for someone with an understanding of VC/AV installations and is happy to travel across Europe.
The Role:
- You will be primarily responsible for carrying out support visits to customers' sites across the UK to perform investigations and resolve issues.
- Dealing with and taking ownership of customer support calls from receipt to resolution.
- Keeping the customer informed of the progress of support tickets.
- Updating the CI Connect Service Desk system with the progress and actions on support tickets.
- Testing and preparing AV equipment for installation.
- Assisting teams with VC/AV installations.
- Working with customers on projects and producing solutions for our client's needs.
- Keeping up to date on AV equipment and the AV industry.
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this AV Technical Support Engineer role will have relevant experience in AV/VC and preferably have worked with hardware. You'll also need a background in customer support. Additionally, it is vital that you have experience within VC.
The Package:
- Basic salary: £40,000 per annum
- Benefits include:
- A generous package: Door to door overtime.
