Peaple Talent have partnered with a renewing client looking to recruit a Data Centre Technician.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in server build, deployment, and troubleshooting. This role is full-time on-site in the Wiltshire area.

A key part of this role will be providing customer support to clients, ensuring service levels are maintained and the ticketing system is fully up to date within the data centre.

Responsibilities include:

  • Deploying and maintaining customized IT environments tailored to specific internal and third-party applications, utilising hardware solutions from a broad range of network, server, and storage vendors.
  • Diagnosing faults, adjusting configurations, and replacing hardware components across various managed infrastructure assets, including servers, switches, firewalls, and storage systems.
  • Setting up, configuring, and optimizing intelligent power distribution units (PDUs) to ensure efficient power usage tracking and load distribution.

Previous experience as a Data Centre Technician, or working in a Data Centre environment is required.

Must satisfy the criteria for SC and BPSS security clearance, including successful completion of the necessary vetting processes.

A valid UK driver’s licence and access to own vehicle is necessary.
