Job Title: Application and Data Support Analyst

Location: Bristol (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Salary: £35,000 – £38,000 (DOE)

Peaple Talent has partnered with an award-winning investment solutions platform with an entrepreneurial and innovative culture. They are looking for an Application and Data Support Analyst to join their IT team. You will play a key role in triaging and managing support requests, resolving application and database issues, and working with stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth delivery of technical support.

The Role:

• Troubleshoot and resolve application and data-related issues
• Manage and triage support requests from internal and external sources
• Analyse and query production data using SQL
• Produce reports and dashboards for business and technical teams
• Access production systems for incident management and debugging
• Document processes, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge base articles
• Work closely with business analysts, product owners, and developers
• Support quality assurance and compliance within a regulated environment

The Candidate:

• Proven experience in a customer or technical support role
• Strong SQL skills in a production environment (querying, updating, analysing data)
• Experience with support software and ticket management
• Excellent data analysis and reporting capabilities
• Knowledge of financial services is desirable (regulated environment experience beneficial)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to take initiative
• Positive, resilient, and team-oriented attitude

The Package:

• Base salary: £35,000 – £38,000 (DOE)
• Hybrid working (3 days onsite in Bristol)
