I’m currently working with a growing specialist consultancy operating in the Utilities sector, looking to appoint a Consulting Manager to lead and develop their Consultancy and Project Management teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced people manager from a consultancy or professional services background to have a real impact on team performance, development and future growth.
The Role:
You’ll take responsibility for the performance, development, wellbeing and capacity of a team of 7+ professionals, working closely with senior leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching and developing the team
Managing performance, wellbeing and career development
Developing recruitment and workforce plans
Managing capacity, resourcing and succession planning
Working closely with Directors and senior stakeholders
Driving improvements across team performance and culture
This is primarily a people leadership role, rather than a traditional client-utilisation position.
What We're Looking For:
- A numbers years' experience, including management of teams of 7+
- Consultancy, professional services or similar background
- Strong coaching and people-development skills
- Experience with recruitment, workforce planning and resourcing
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience in the Water or Utilities industry desired
