Peaple Talent have partnered with an established organisation looking for a 2nd Line IT Support Engineer to join their friendly IT team. The Role:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across hardware, software, networks and mobile devices, taking ownership of issues through to resolution.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across Microsoft 365, Windows environments, Active Directory, telephony and business systems.
- Support the deployment, configuration and maintenance of laptops, tablets and mobile devices, including device management through Microsoft Intune.
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including wireless networks, VPNs and connected devices, ensuring systems remain reliable and secure.
- Install, configure and repair IT equipment across multiple sites, delivering excellent customer service and supporting the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
The Candidate:
- At least 2 years' recent experience in a 1st/2nd Line IT Support role, with a strong background in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365, Windows environments and the wider Office 365 suite.
- Experience with device deployment and management, ideally using Microsoft Intune, alongside knowledge of Active Directory, DHCP and DNS.
- A good understanding of networking, ITIL principles and service desk best practice, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and customer service skills, a hands-on attitude and a full UK driving licence, with the ability to travel between sites.
