Looking to take your AutoCAD / BIM skills into a Building Services Designer role where you can work on real MEP projects and develop your Revit experience?
We’re working with a growing building services team in Cardiff who are looking for a Building Services Designer to join their team.
This opportunity could suit someone with 0–3 years’ experience who has a solid grounding in AutoCAD and wants to build a career in building services design, BIM and Revit.
What you'll be working on
- Producing detailed 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings
- Developing Revit / BIM models for building services
- Supporting mechanical and electrical design
- Assisting with MEP coordination and clash detection
- Updating technical drawings, models and design documentation
- Working across projects from initial design through to delivery
What we're looking for
You don't need years of experience — we're interested in people with the right technical foundation and attitude to develop.
You’ll ideally have:
- Some exposure to Revit / Revit MEP
- Experience or education within engineering, construction or MEP
- A good understanding of technical drawings
- An interest in developing within building services design and BIM
