Peaple Talent is partnering with an established technology business specialising in secure communications and collaboration solutions to find a Technical Trainer with a strong technical background and a passion for helping customers get the most out of their technology.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver technical training to customers and partners across the UK and internationally, focusing on video conferencing and telephony solutions. You'll deliver courses remotely and in person, lead hands‑on workshops, support customer onboarding and tailor training to different technical environments.
We're looking for someone who understands the unified communications landscape, ideally with experience of Cisco technologies and knowledge of video and telephony solutions. You'll be comfortable engaging with technical audiences, explaining complex concepts clearly and helping customers build the skills and confidence to deploy, operate and manage their systems effectively.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience delivering technical training across software, networking, collaboration or unified communications technologies
- Industry knowledge of unified communications, video conferencing, or telephony solutions.
- Experience with Cisco collaboration technologies, ideally with hands‑on knowledge of relevant platforms and products
- The ability to explain technical concepts clearly and deliver engaging training to a range of audiences
- Experience delivering remote and face‑to‑face training, including technical demonstrations, workshops and hands‑on labs
- A solid technical background in areas such as technical support, systems engineering, networking or professional services
- Strong customer‑facing skills, with the ability to adapt training to different levels of technical knowledge
- Excellent organisation and attention to detail, with a proactive approach to improving training materials and delivery
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Cisco Unified Communications and collaboration environments
- Knowledge of video conferencing, voice, telephony and wider enterprise communication systems
- Experience supporting enterprise customers or working within government, defence or secure communications environments
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS), technical certification programmes or structured learning pathways
- Experience developing technical course materials, demonstrations and lab environments
- Additional language skills, particularly French, German or Arabic
