We are a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We are ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties. We now have a vacancy for a Property Surveyor to join our Asset and Development team.
You will undertake regularly programmed pre & post work inspections and monitor quality and performance standards to ensure property maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with Health and Safety Legislation, relevant Codes of Practice and appropriate Quality Standards. You will also support the stock condition programme, HHSRS, empty properties and all associated survey work. The role will also assist in the monitoring of any subcontracted work relating to any maintenance, compliance, programmed or improvement works on behalf of the Trust.

To succeed, you'll have experience in a housing organisation in a maintenance environment, pre/post inspecting projects and production of schedule of works. You will also have knowledge of the issues facing social housing in the property condition environment, including dealing with high-risk scenarios. We are looking for someone with knowledge of HHSRS legislation, AWAABs law and damp/mould investigations, treatment and prevention along with a Building Trades qualification e.g. City & Guilds or NVQ III.
