Compliance Officer

Location: Ropewalks, Newton Street, Macclesfield, Cheshire Were a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas.

Were ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties.

A Fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Compliance Officer to join our team.

The Compliance Officer plays a vital role in ensuring the safety, compliance and operational integrity of social housing assets.

This position is responsible for managing and monitoring statutory compliance; ensuring that all housing stock meets current health and safety legislation, regulations and best practice standards.

A minimum of 28 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays).

In this role you will oversee inspection programmes, contractor performance and remedial actions, maintaining accurate records and ensuring timely interventions to protect residents, staff, contractors and members of the public.

In addition, the role involves having an oversight of associated budgets, ensuring value for money and cost efficiency across compliance activity.

To succeed youll have experience of working in a compliance role within social housing or similar setting.

You will also need Proven experience of managing contractors developing successful relationships, achieving challenging targets and objectives as well as the ability to interpret reports and implement corrective actions.
