Head Chef needed for varied role within a very busy Deli/Café located on a farm shop
Belper location £34-35,000 DOE
normal workings hours will be 8.30am-5pm

This is an excellent opportunity for a Head chef or chef who is looking for sociable hours. They are seeking a chef to head up and run the kitchen – within a busy food and beverage outlet and would thrive in a café/deli environment.
This role with offer the right candidate a varied working environment the role will be responsible for:
Day to day running of the café operation
A development role, help develop new ideas, recipes in the production kitchen for sale in the farm shop
The café is open for breakfast, Lunch and cakes its also serves a full Sunday roast on a Sunday lunchtime
All is meat and produce is from the farm or from local producers.
As Head chef you are expected to be well presented, friendly, enthusiastic and willing to give 100% and be a very hands on
As Head chef you will produce all fresh food in house including baking cakes and scones etc… and create all menus and specials on a daily basis
As Head chef duties will also include running sections, stock control and ordering
For this role the ideal Head chef will have kitchen experience within a very fast paced environment.
Normal working hours 8.30am 5pm
Some evening work but on rare occasions limited to 5 events a year
Mainly working 45 hours a week
28 days holiday
3 days off at Christmas
