We’re a housing provider in Macclesfield with over 5,000 properties across East Cheshire and the surrounding areas. We’re ambitious with plans to build more homes, regenerate local areas and invest in our properties. We provide housing to those in housing need and aim to be a great landlord for our customers.
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Asset Manager to join our team. You will be leading the Trust’s approach to asset management and investment planning, ensuring that homes are safe, compliant and sustainable, and that investment decisions are evidence-led and aligned to the Business Plan. You will also oversee the quality, integrity and use of asset data to inform short-, medium- and long-term programmes, and will work collaboratively with colleagues, contractors and external partners to deliver regulatory compliance, value for money and continuous improvement. The role also provides leadership to the Energy Manager to ensure effective delivery of the Trust’s Asset Management and Environmental objectives.

To do well in this role, you’ll have a Degree (or equivalent) in asset management, building surveying, housing, construction, or related discipline. We’re looking for someone who has strong report writing and presentation skills; able to explain complex asset issues clearly and experience coordinating major investment programmes to minimise abortive work and maximise value for money.
