Do you have the skills, passion and experience to work as a Lunchtime Supervisor and support the safety and behaviour of our pupils? Then our school may be the perfect fit for you!

Our school is a friendly, positive village school with high standards expected of the children within a caring, Christian ethos. We value partnerships with parents, carers and the community to create a stimulating, learning environment for the children. We plan an active curriculum that aims to be vibrant, challenging and creative with clear skills progression for learning. The school is at the heart of the village of Glinton, just north of Peterborough. Our core Christian values are at the core of everything we do. They have been written in consultation with our local incumbent, staff, pupils and parents. They are embedded in our curriculum and underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils as confident, happy citizens.

We have an opportunity for a friendly, enthusiastic and professional Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team and support our children during their lunchtime break.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly

  • Someone who understands how to tackle challenging behaviour in children with respect and understanding, following the school's Behaviour Policy
  • An individual who has high expectations of healthy eating and table manners and supports the children to develop good eating habits
  • A person who understands our children and our community and who is able to build supportive and respectful relationships with children whilst maintaining confidentiality and following the school's Code of Conduct
  • An energetic individual who smiles often, engages with the children and models the values and ethos of our school at all times
  • Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn
  • Ability to work effectively, flexibly and independently
  • Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school

In return, we can offer you:

  • A welcoming and caring school, that encourages everyone to give their best at all times, that aims to contribute all they can to our life as a school community
  • A collaborative and supportive school community that is underpinned by the Christian ethos, driven by a shared passion of children's welfare and education
  • A rewarding and exciting working environment, that inspires and challenges within a supportive and welcoming atmosphere
  • Access to a vast array of employee benefits and recognition systems, via our brand-new partnership with Vivup
