Reports To: Head of Global Commercial
Your Mission: Drive significant revenue growth by cultivating deep, strategic, and long‑term relationships within our largest global pharmaceutical accounts. You will be instrumental in positioning PeakData’s current portfolio and laying the commercial foundation for our major new product launch in 2026.
The Opportunity:
- Strategic Leadership: We are searching for an accomplished, highly networked Director who thrives in a dynamic and creative environment. You won’t be working in a silo; you will work closely with a high‑energy team of Account Managers and Business Development colleagues. This is a pivotal, executive‑facing role where you will serve as the senior representative for 3‑4 of the world’s leading pharma accounts while spearheading our expansion across the UK market. You are the bridge between our clients' biggest commercial challenges and our cutting‑edge AI technology.
How We Work: We believe in the power of face‑to‑face collaboration without the 5‑day‑a‑week to the office. We have a central London office right by Bank station. You’ll join the team there 1‑2 days per week for collaboration; for the rest of the week, you have the autonomy to work where you are most efficient whether that’s at home, in the office, or on‑site with your clients.
What you’ll do:
- Global Account Leadership: Serve as the senior customer‑facing representative for critical global accounts, developing strategies to drive global adoption and upsell opportunities.
- UK Market Expansion: Drive business development and client engagement across UK pharmaceutical affiliates to win new logos.
- C‑Suite Stakeholder Management: Build enduring trust with senior decision‑makers (Commercial Ops VPs, Global IT Heads, and Brand Leaders) across Europe.
- Strategic Positioning: Align the organization behind your client's vision and prepare the market for the launch of our massive new product in 2026.
- Voice of the Customer: Work alongside our Data and Product teams to ensure our roadmap stays miles ahead of legacy competitors.
What you’ll bring:
- Experience: 8+ years of experience with a proven track record in Director‑level BD or Strategic Account roles selling to Life Science enterprises. (Experience with SaaS, Data, or AI products is a plus).
- The Network: A strong existing network within Commercial Operations, IT, or Marketing at major pharmaceutical companies is a massive plus.
- Executive Presence: You are comfortable leading high‑stakes discussions with executive teams and have a curious mindset.
- The "Builder" and "Hunter" Mentality: You are a proactive self‑starter who thrives in a "hands‑on" environment and is keen to build a company, not just manage a territory.
- Mobility: Based in the UK with a willingness to travel across the region and Europe for face‑to‑face engagement.
What we offer:
- Impact: The chance to shape the commercial strategy for an industry‑leading AI platform.
- Culture: A multicultural, agile environment backed by leading VCs (Albion Capital, Octopus VC, and Heal Capital).
- Reward: A competitive salary with an accelerated bonus structure that rewards high‑impact results.
