About This Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑oriented Agency Trader (Overnight) to join our Trading and Execution Services Team. In this critical role, you will be part of the team responsible for supporting our customers—including broker dealers, institutional clients, and registered investment advisors—during overnight trading sessions. You will not only provide operational support but also play an essential role in ensuring risk mitigation, maintaining smooth trade flow, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Duties / Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support overnight trading activities, ensuring efficient trade execution and accuracy.
  • Act as a trusted first point of contact for resolving client inquiries related to order flow, trade execution, and system performance.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues involving Order Management Systems (OMS) and Electronic Trading Systems (EMS).
  • Proactively identify and respond to potential trade settlement, compliance, or operational risks; escalate issues as necessary.
  • Coordinate with operations, technology, and compliance teams to address client needs and improve service delivery.
  • Leverage in‑depth understanding of market dynamics, trading protocols, and regulatory requirements to provide strategic insights and guidance to clients.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate updates, ensuring seamless handoff to the following day’s trading staff.

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) required.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting broker dealer, institutional, or RIA customers in a trading environment.
  • FINRA SIE and Series 7 preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a track record of mitigating risk in a fast‑paced trading environment.
  • Proven ability to build strong client relationships and deliver best‑in‑class support with a calm and professional demeanor.
  • Deep understanding of global equity and options markets, trading protocols, and industry regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills to quickly diagnose and resolve trading and technical issues.
  • Comfortable working independently during overnight hours and able to adapt to changing market conditions.
