Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Production Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and testing of temperature sensors to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Wire Cutting and Preparation : Accurately cut, strip, and prepare wire materials for sensor assemblies.
- Brazing : Perform brazing operations on sensor components to ensure secure and durable connections.
- Assembly : Assemble RTDs, thermocouples, and other temperature sensors in accordance with precise specifications.
- Quality Assurance : Conduct thorough quality checks at each stage of production to ensure all products meet required technical specifications and quality standards.
- Equipment Operation : Operate and maintain production machinery and tools used in the sensor manufacturing process, ensuring they are functioning optimally.
- Process Improvement : Work closely with the production team to identify and implement improvements in efficiency, quality, and safety within the production environment.
- Health and Safety : Adhere to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a safe and organised work environment.
- Collaboration : Work effectively within the team to meet production targets and deadlines, ensuring smooth workflow and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a manufacturing or technical production environment (experience with sensor production or electrical components is an advantage).
