What you'll be doing
As a Dispensing Assistant in a warehouse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our pharmacy branches and patients receive safe, timely, and accurate deliveries of medication. Working as part of our warehouse team, you will:
- Accurately pick, pack, and label medication and other pharmacy products in line with prescriptions and delivery requirements.
- Support the efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse to maintain high service levels.
- Help manage stock rotation and inventory levels, highlighting shortages and ensuring products are stored safely and securely.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including receiving deliveries, stock checks, and maintaining a clean and well-organised workspace.
- Follow company procedures and comply with all health, safety, and legal standards to ensure the safe handling of medicines.
What We're Looking For
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, dispensing, or stock-handling role (desirable).
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or similar qualification (preferred but not essential; training can be provided).
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to high standards.
