SECONDARY MATHS TEACHER SEN SCHOOL FOR ASD AND SPEECH AND LANGUAGE NEEDS SOUTH WEST LONDON – WIMBLEDON MPS1-UPS3 PAID TO SCALE FROM DAY 1 ASAP START INTERVIEWING NOW!! A small, specialist school for students with high-functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder and speech and language needs are seeking a qualified and suitably experienced maths teacher to join them ASAP. This is a temp role, full time and will be made permanent for the right person. About the School All students have an EHCP to support their learning and development, and ASD is their primary need. The school is a supportive, nurturing environment with small class sizes and a range of enrichment and extra-curricular activities catering for students in years 5 to 11 and offer GCSE and equivalent qualifications delivered by highly specialist teachers and support staff. The school is a state-of-the-art building, which has been especially designed to cater to the needs of students with ASD. Every student has a staff mentor from the outset and access to 1-to-1 mentoring sessions. The Headteacher is seeking an individual who Has empathy and resilience to work with pupils with high functioning Autism Is a reflective and open to feedback type of teacher Can plan, deliver and tailor Maths teaching to a range of learning levels
