We are recruiting an experienced and dependable School Caretaker for a welcoming primary setting in the Sparkhill area. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering long-term stability, with a permanent salary above £28,000 for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the site, including key-holding and alarm duties
- General maintenance, repairs and basic DIY across the school
- Ensuring the site is clean, safe and well-presented at all times
- Managing contractors and overseeing on-site works
- Carrying out health & safety checks, compliance logs and routine inspections
- Supporting with deliveries, room setups and movement of equipment
- Being a reliable, proactive presence around the school
Requirements
- DBS on the Update Service – essential
- Previous experience as a caretaker, site manager or facilities assistant
- Strong DIY/maintenance skills
- Good understanding of health & safety and site security
- Reliable, hands-on and able to work independently
- Immediate availability
