A well-established three-form entry primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Year 3 Teacher to join them from September, working Wednesday to Friday on a long-term basis. The school is Ofsted-rated Good and is known for its inclusive ethos, strong community relationships and a leadership team that is both supportive and highly involved in ensuring high standards across teaching and learning. The Role

  • Year 3 Class Teacher (Weds–Fri)
  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
  • Work closely with the phase leader and parallel class teachers
  • Deploy TAs effectively to support learning and behaviour
  • Contribute to planning, assessment and parent communication

Requirements

  • QTS is essential – applications from non-QTS candidates cannot be considered
  • Strong UK teaching experience, ideally within KS2
  • Excellent classroom management, particularly with high numbers of SEND pupils
  • Ability to differentiate and adapt teaching for a range of needs
  • DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply
  • A genuine commitment to a long-term role and consistency for pupils

Pay & Benefits

  • £160–£260 per day, dependent on experience
  • Weekly pay via umbrella
