The Red Lion Restaurant at Peak Edge Hotel is looking for an inspiring Restaurant Manager to lead our front of house team. Set on the edge of the beautiful Peak District, the Red Lion offers a relaxed yet refined dining experience built around seasonal menus, locally sourced ingredients and genuine, warm hospitality.

The role:

As Restaurant Manager, you will lead the day-to-day running of the restaurant and be responsible for delivering the warm, professional hospitality the Red Lion is known for. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating the front of house team to deliver exceptional service
  • Being a visible and welcoming presence on the restaurant floor
  • Ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and memorable dining experience
  • Working closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to deliver seamless service
  • Managing team training, development and performance
  • Overseeing service standards across breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner
  • Supporting recruitment, team organisation and daily operations
  • Maintaining the relaxed yet refined atmosphere that defines the Red Lion
