An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the team at Peak Ales Ltd, an expanding independent brewery with a strong and loyal following across Derbyshire. We are currently seeking a part-time Brewery Drayman to support our growing production and delivery operation based at our brewery in Ashford-in-the-Water. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who is reliable, self-motivated and enjoys working as part of a small team.
Role Responsibilities
- Trade deliveries to pubs and clubs
- Home deliveries to retail customers
- Assisting the brewery team as required
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a current full clean UK Driving Licence (minimum age 25 years for insurance purposes)
- Be physically fit with the ability to manually handle casks weighing up to 52 kg
- Have a reasonable level of computer literacy
- Be methodical, organised and able to self-manage
- Have a professional approach with good attention to detail
- Work well as part of a team and demonstrate excellent people skills
Position Details
- Permanent, part-time position
- Initially 16 hours per week – with flexibility to cover holidays and illness
- Wednesday and Thursday day shifts
- Pay: National Living Wage
- Holiday allowance: 28 days pro rata (including public holidays)
- Workplace pension available
- Uniform provided
- Start Date: 01 June 2026
