Peak Academy, Reach South Academy Trust is looking to appoint an experienced Cleaner (20hrs per week) to join the School as soon as possible.

Job Details

  • Position: Cleaner (Part‑time, 20 hours per week)
  • Location: Peak Academy, Dursley, Gloucestershire
  • Salary: Grade B pt.2 FTE £24,413 pro rata (£12,249 actual)
  • Contract Type: Permanent, part‑time, term‑time only plus 2 weeks during holidays
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week

About the role

Under the direction of the line manager, the cleaner will fully contribute to site cleanliness, ensuring all facilities are clean and available for use while attaining high standards of cleaning and hygiene throughout the school environment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Willingness to gain knowledge of health and safety procedures and precautions, including COSHH regulations and an awareness of health and hygiene procedures
  • Willingness to gain knowledge of cleaning procedures required to meet specified cleaning standards and use appropriate equipment
  • Experience of general cleaning work
  • Ability to work on own or as part of a team
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
