The Opportunity

We are looking for a Physiotherapist to join our growing team at Peacock Pain & Injury Clinic — someone who wants to deliver high-quality care and make a genuine difference to patients’ lives. This is a part-time role focused on evenings and some weekend work, making it ideal for a Physiotherapist looking to work alongside other commitments — whether that’s NHS work, family life, or a gradual transition into private practice. Our evening clinics are our busiest and most in-demand times, allowing you to work with motivated patients and build a strong, consistent caseload. You’ll be supported to develop confidence in private practice, while working within a clear, structured system designed to help patients recover properly — not just feel better short-term.

Who is this Role for

This role would suit a Physiotherapist who:

  • Has at least 1–2 years’ experience (MSK preferred), or is confident working independently
  • Wants to develop within private practice in a supportive environment
  • Enjoys building strong relationships with patients and guiding them through recovery
  • Can clearly explain what patients need, how often, and why — in a supportive and honest way
  • Takes pride in delivering high standards of care

This role is particularly well suited to someone:

  • Currently working in the NHS and looking for additional or alternative hours
  • Returning to work and wanting flexible, part-time hours
  • Curious about private practice but not ready to commit full-time

About Us

Peacock Pain & Injury Clinic is a values-led private MSK clinic with a clear purpose: To help people live stronger, longer, and pain-free — so they can do what they love, for life. We combine hands-on therapy, rehabilitation, and education within a structured patient journey, ensuring every patient has a clear plan and measurable progress. We value:

  • Clarity
  • Consistency
  • Accountability
  • Doing the right thing for patients

The Role

You will:

  • Assess and treat a range of MSK conditions independently
  • Deliver hands-on treatment and rehabilitation-based care
  • Develop clear, structured treatment plans with defined outcomes
  • Guide patients through their recovery with confidence and empathy
  • Educate patients on their condition and long-term management
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes
  • Contribute positively to a supportive team environment

You will be supported to grow into this role, with clear structure and guidance in place.

Working Hours

  • 10–15 hours per week initially
  • Evening clinics are a key part of this role (typically from 4pm onwards)
  • Weekend work on a rota basis (primarily Saturday mornings)
  • Flexibility can be discussed to suit the right candidate
  • Opportunity to increase hours as the clinic grows

Requirements

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Ability to work independently with appropriate clinical reasoning
  • Right to work in the UK (we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role)
  • MSK experience
  • Interest in rehabilitation-based exercise or Clinical Pilates
  • Experience with active populations (e.g. runners, gym-goers)
  • Additional manual therapy skills

What We Offer

  • Permanent employed role with clear structure
  • A supportive, professional team environment
  • Opportunity to develop within private practice
  • Funded CPD and ongoing development
  • Salary progression based on performance and contribution
  • Paid annual leave
  • Pension (subject to eligibility)
  • Free on-site parking

Why Join Peacock?

You’ll be part of a clinic where:

  • Patients are treated as individuals, not numbers
  • You are supported to do your job properly
  • There is a clear structure to help you succeed
  • You can build confidence and grow within private practice

We’re not looking for someone to simply fill hours. We’re looking for someone who wants to grow, contribute, and be part of something meaningful.
