Kitchen Assistant

Peacock Medicare have been providing high quality care to older people with life limiting conditions for over 30 years in West Lothian.

We are seeking to recruit a kitchen assistant to assist our cooks maintain a high standard of service to residents and staff,

The role includes;

• Washing pots and pans
• loading dishwashers
• maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining rooms
• helping with some food preparation
• delivering trolleys to dining rooms and residents units.

The position requires that you are a member of the PVG scheme which costs £59 to register or £18 for an update if you are already a member. (The cost is met by the applicant).

Hours of work are 25 hours per week, including some weekend work.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: £12.28 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
