This position plays a critical role in aligning business functions with company growth objectives – a fantastic opportunity to join the head office of a fast-growing brand. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail, ecommerce and wholesale operations, experience managing teams and delivering on financial targets, and tangible experience growing a small business within the fashion industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations:

  • Manage the 3PL relationship, ensuring a productive and smooth way of working across the D2C and Wholesale business. Ensure orders are sent out in a timely manner, any discrepancies raised and resolved smoothly, and the customer experience is optimal. Ensure all tech integrations are working effectively and updated as regularly as needed, and packaging levels are kept at appropriate stock levels.
  • Manage the cross-border commerce function via Zonos, a third party integration, and Shopify Markets. Ensure consistently accurate display of information with the support of our Account Manager and in line with global guidance. Ensure international pricing is reflective of the business strategy and aligned with the Finance Manager to meet profitability targets.
  • Manage the shipping partner relationships, domestically and internationally, where separate from the 3PL. Ensure accurate delivery information is displayed online and communicated internally and externally.

Retail:

  • Set the retail strategy, prioritising expansion of the channel and customer growth.
  • Oversee the strategy and execution of the existing East London store, and manage our retail expansion into a new 2025 London flagship with the support of the Customer and Retail Manager.
  • Manage the retail revenue targets and cost base to achieve profitability and growth targets. Ensure appropriate staffing and planning to ensure an optimal customer experience.
  • In partnership with the Head of Marketing and Customer and Retail Manager, oversee the store event calendar to ensure continued in-person community growth.

Ecommerce:

  • Set the ecommerce strategy, aligning the team behind the vision and ensuring effective execution in line with the Founder’s wider company vision.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, customer acquisition and revenue generation in collaboration with the Head of Marketing.
  • Manage the Ecommerce revenue targets and cost base to achieve profitability and growth targets.
  • Responsible for the continuous improvement of AOV, Conversion Rate and Web Sessions in line with the yearly financial target.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Ecommerce website with the support of the Marketing and Ecommerce Assistant.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate launch of ecommerce products in line with the business drop strategy.
  • Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights to inform decision making. Use data and analytics to optimise the website, improving UX, marketing strategies and business performance.
  • Manage promotional markdown periods online, from sale pricing proposals to the sale roll-out and execution.
  • Manage the ecommerce tech stack, internal and external integrations. Ensure the Peachy Den systems are efficient and robust, and any third party apps or integrations are both necessary and working smoothly.
  • Oversee the existing third-party developer relationship when technical changes to the site are needed.

Merchandising:

  • Prepare and assess reports/information for weekly trading meetings and product meetings.
  • Ensure that decision-making tools reflect the most accurate trading position on sales, stock, and intake.
  • Suggest trading opportunities to maximise sales and profit, and provide the business with analysis on individual product performance. Monitoring sell-through and stock levels of new products to ensure sales are maximized.
  • Manage monthly re-forecasting across Core and monitoring fashion performance to assess restock needs.
  • Manage the company WSSI to align inventory with demand, prevent overstocking and reduce stock-outs.
  • Ensure stock is maintained at an optimum level by recommending re-buys and re-phasing of intake.
  • Review product availability, assessing issues, and proposing actions to improve availability and provide solutions. Monitoring stock covers and reacting to any under/over stock issues, driving solutions to inventory concerns by working with the wider product and marketing teams.
  • Work closely with the Head of Product to create annual range plans, and adjust them as data informs.
  • Collaborate with the retail manager to ensure that store buys are allocated correctly and continuously restocked.

  • Manage sell-through plans for existing stock and markdown periods.
  • Manage the buying of seasonal stock in collaboration with the Head of Product and Creative Director to meet targets.

  • Define and implement a strategic wholesale plan to drive revenue growth, expand market reach, and optimise wholesale channel performance in line with company objectives.
  • Establish sales and profitability targets for wholesale accounts, regularly analyse performance data, and adjust strategies to achieve goals.
