About Us
We are an early-stage company on a mission to bring mental and physical health education to families and schools through a subscription-based platform. Our interactive modules help children, teens, and parents develop lifelong well-being skills — covering topics like resilience, mental wellbeing, nutrition, sleep, sexual health, cyber awareness and more.
We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on Social Media & Communications professional to help us launch and grow our brand from the ground up across digital channels.
Role Overview
As our Social Media & Communications Strategist, you’ll be responsible for setting the tone and strategy for our online presence. You’ll build and execute a roadmap that drives awareness, trust, and conversion across diverse audiences — including parents, teens, and children — across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X and will utilise email marketing.
You’ll work closely with our founders and content creators to ensure our message resonates at every stage of the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop a messaging framework tailored to our three core audience segments: parents, teachers, and teens.
• Highlight key benefits, reasons to believe, trust signals, and emotional storytelling hooks that align with each group.
• Ensure consistency in voice and tone across all platforms and communications.
2. Communications Strategy
• Define and document a communications plan for each audience that addresses:
• Awareness: Introduction to brand + problem/solution positioning
• Consideration: Differentiators, credibility, and content value
• Conversion: Trust-building, social proof, and compelling CTAs
• Create a channel-by-channel strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn — tailored for each audience.
• Build a posting roadmap that balances brand storytelling, educational content, community engagement, and promotional posts.
• Recommend content formats (e.g. reels, carousels, stories, lives, short-form video, memes) based on platform best practices.
4. Execution & Campaign Management
• Lead day-to-day execution of the content plan, including:
• Visual content creation or creative direction
• Writing compelling captions, hooks, and CTAs
• Scheduling and posting content
• Managing community engagement (responding to DMs/comments, managing UGC, etc.)
5. Performance & Optimisation
• Define KPIs and success metrics across audience segments and funnel stages.
• Monitor, track, and analyse post and campaign performance.
• Regularly report insights and suggest optimisations based on data (engagement, reach, CTR, saves, shares, conversions).
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience growing B2C brands from scratch on social media, ideally in wellness, EdTech, parenting, or youth engagement.
• Strong understanding of audience psychology and content that resonates across generations.
• Excellent writing skills — from fun, clear, and age-appropriate messaging for kids to warm, credible, trust-building copy for parents.
• Proficiency in social tools (e.g. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, Meta Business Suite).
•Proficiency in the use of Mailerlite to generate automations and campaigns that align with social media posts
• Strong analytics and ability to translate numbers into action.
• Bonus: Familiarity with SEO, and paid social.
What Success Looks Like (3–6 Months)
• A clear and actionable multi-audience communications playbook
• Consistent and high-quality content published across at least 2-3 key platforms
• Growth in engagement, reach, and follower count month-over-month
• A foundational social media presence that reflects the brand’s values, voice, and mission
