Job Description

Temporary Site Manager – Fit-Out Project

Location: Perthshire, Scotland

Contract: Temporary (2 – 3 weeks)

Rate: Negotiable based on experience

Start Date: End of July

About the Role:

We’re currently recruiting for a Temporary Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a commercial fit-out project in Perthshire.

Project Type:

High-spec fit-out within the commercial sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site operations and ensure works are progressing to programme
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries
  • Ensure strict adherence to health & safety regulations
  • Manage site inductions and daily briefings
  • Monitor progress, maintain site records, and report to the contracts/project manager
  • Carry out quality checks and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications
  • Liaise with client representatives and stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in fit-out or refurbishment projects (commercial experience preferred)
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work (mandatory)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage trades and subcontractors under tight deadlines
  • Keen eye for detail and commitment to high-quality finishes
