A growing construction-focused business in North Lanarkshire is seeking an all-round Document Controller who can manage project documentation, support the wider office, and keep operations running smoothly. This is not a narrow, single-track position. They need someone comfortable juggling document control, office management tasks and basic accounts duties such as invoice processing. Key Responsibilities
- Manage document control across active projects
- Upload, distribute and track drawings and technical documentation
- Maintain version control and audit trails
- Handle office management duties (suppliers, ordering, coordination, basic facilities)
- Provide admin and PA-style support to Directors and Project Teams
- Process invoices and support basic accounts administration
- Act as a central point of coordination for day-to-day office needs
- Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors and clients
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and standards
Requirements
- Previous experience in document control within construction, civils, engineering or similar
- Confident supporting multiple functions across the business
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Clear communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience using systems such as SharePoint and ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud)
- Comfortable handling competing demands without panic or fuss
- Office support or accounts admin experience will be advantageous.
