A leading energy and renewables organisation is seeking a Document Controller / BIM Coordinator to support the delivery of major infrastructure and energy projects across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established business at the forefront of the renewable energy sector, working on projects that genuinely make an impact.
This role would suit a highly organised professional with experience in Document Control and/or BIM Coordination within project environments.
The RoleYou will support project teams by managing project documentation, maintaining Common Data Environments, and assisting with BIM coordination activities. You will play a key role in ensuring project information is accurate, controlled, and accessible throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Managing project documentation including records, deliverables, and transmittals
- Maintaining document registers, trackers, and logs
- Supporting project closeout activities to ensure documentation is complete and compliant
- Using and maintaining Common Data Environment (CDE) systems such as Autodesk ACC, Vault, or similar
- Supporting BIM coordination activities where required
- Assisting with general project coordination, reporting, and information flow across teams
- Occasional travel to project sites across Scotland
- Proven experience in Document Control within project-based environments
- Ideally 3-5 years experience
- Understanding of project documentation requirements, deliverables, and closeout processes
- Experience using CDE platforms such as Autodesk ACC, Vault, or equivalent systems
- BIM Coordination experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Comfortable working across multiple projects and stakeholders
- Salary dependent on experience
- Flexible base location across Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Perth or Inverness
