Job Title: Debt Recovery Paralegal

Salary: Up to £36,000k

We’re working with a highly respected Scottish law firm that is looking to add a skilled Debt Recovery Paralegal to their established litigation team. This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm with a strong reputation in commercial litigation, credit control, and enforcement work. Key Responsibilities:

• Handling a caseload of debt recovery matters from initial instruction through to enforcement.
• Drafting legal documents including court papers , letters before action , and settlement agreements.
• Liaising with clients, courts, and third parties.
• Monitoring and progressing cases in line with court deadlines and procedures.
• Advising clients on the debt recovery process under Scottish law .

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in debt recovery within a legal setting — ideally with Sheriff Court experience.
• A solid working knowledge of Scottish civil litigation procedures .
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A confident communicator who can manage client expectations with professionalism and clarity.
• Comfortable using legal case management systems and working independently.
