I’m working with a respected commercial property business in Glasgow that’s looking to bring in an Assistant Client Accountant to take ownership of their portfolio finance and be the go-to person for clients, tenants, and internal teams.
What you’ll be doing:
- You’ll be the primary finance contact for a set portfolio, handling everything from day-to-day client queries right through to service charge reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Be the first point of contact for clients, tenants, and Property Managers.
- Review and reconcile service charge year ends.
- Deliver all reporting for your allocated client portfolio.
- Prepare weekly payment runs.
- Keep the property management system up to date- leases, budgets, recharges, adjustments.
- Work closely with managers, credit control and clients to keep cash flow smooth.
- Review, raise and issue monthly tenant billing.
- Manage rent funds, transfers, voids, and management fee deductions.
- Support the wider finance team and act as an escalation point when needed.

- Around 2 years’ experience in commercial property finance or a similar environment.
- Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Solid communication, written and verbal.
- Organised, accurate and able to juggle multiple tasks.
- Confident working independently but happy as part of a team.
