Peace Recruitment Services client, based in the beautiful north of Scotland/Moray, is a well-known and stable CNC machining business. They have a proud history and long expertise supporting clients across construction, automotive, energy and material handling. They are looking to hire a Quality Engineer to support their ongoing operation.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the existing Quality Management System, managing non-conformities or complaints, ensuring that parts conform to specifications, and carrying out internal audits. The ideal candidate should have a strong manufacturing background, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and have excellent working knowledge of relevant compliance standards.
Responsibilities- Manage, maintain and develop the existing ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System
- Manage all internal Non-Conformities and Customer Complaints including Root Cause Analysis
- Manage and develop Quality Control processes to ensure that parts received from suppliers or those manufactured in house conform to specifications
- Manage and develop Quality Control processes to ensure that the final product produced conforms to the specifications and requirements laid out by the customer
- Manage and carry out internal audit as per the approved internal audit schedule
- Produce monthly reports showing performance against business Quality objectives.
- Produce monthly reports showing performance against departmental KPI’s
- Strong manufacturing background
- Excellent working knowledge of ISO9001:2015 requirements

- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
