Peace Recruitment Services are currently looking for a Sub Agent to join a major heavy civils / infrastructure project. Supporting the Site Agent, you will play a key role in the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Section Engineer or Sub Agent looking to develop further on large-scale infrastructure works.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Site Agent in managing site operations and project delivery
- Supervise engineers, subcontractors, and site teams
- Ensure works are carried out in line with programme, budget, and quality requirements
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and monitoring site activities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
- Monitor progress and report on site performance
- Assist with resolving technical and operational issues
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
Requirements
- Experience in a Sub Agent or Senior Engineer role within heavy civils or infrastructure
- Strong background in projects such as roads, drainage, structures, or utilities
- Good understanding of construction processes and site management
- SMSTS or SSSTS (preferred)
- CSCS card (essential)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage workload and support multiple site activities
Desirable
- Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience on large-scale infrastructure or civil engineering projects
- Temporary Works knowledge
- First Aid qualification
