Peace Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major heavy civils/infrastructure project. This is a key role responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
You will play a vital part in coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and resources across a complex and fast-paced project environment. Will be required to work on projects around the Scottish central belt.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and oversee daily site operations on civil/infrastructure works
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
- Lead and supervise site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
- Review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
- Monitor progress and report to senior management
- Coordinate materials, plant, and labour effectively
- Maintain accurate site records and documentation
- Proven experience as a Site Agent within heavy civils or infrastructure projects
- Strong background in projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, or groundworks
- Excellent knowledge of construction processes and site management
- SMSTS (essential)
- CSCS card (essential)
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
- Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience on large-scale or high-value infrastructure projects
- Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor
- First Aid qualification
