Peace Recruitment Services are seeking an experienced Site Agent to join a major heavy civils/infrastructure project. This is a key role responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will play a vital part in coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and resources across a complex and fast-paced project environment. Will be required to work on projects around the Scottish central belt.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee daily site operations on civil/infrastructure works
  • Ensure all activities are carried out in line with programme, budget, and quality standards
  • Lead and supervise site teams, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements
  • Review and implement RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
  • Monitor progress and report to senior management
  • Coordinate materials, plant, and labour effectively
  • Maintain accurate site records and documentation

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Agent within heavy civils or infrastructure projects
  • Strong background in projects such as roads, bridges, utilities, or groundworks
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes and site management
  • SMSTS (essential)
  • CSCS card (essential)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

  • Degree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Experience on large-scale or high-value infrastructure projects
  • Temporary Works Coordinator or Supervisor
  • First Aid qualification
