Peace Recruitment are working with a civil engineering contractor who require a Site Engineer for a short term project in North East Scotland. The role will support works involving concrete repairs and construction of a reinforced concrete structure on an existing coastal asset. This position will suit an engineer who is comfortable with setting out, QA processes and maintaining accurate records of completed works.
Responsibilities
- Setting out works in accordance with drawings
- Marking repair locations and recording completed works
- Re measuring repairs and maintaining detailed records
- QA inspections and site documentation
- Supporting production of RAMS
- Carrying out inductions, briefings and H&S checks
Requirements
- Strong setting out capability
- Experience with concrete or structural works preferred
- Comfortable with QA documentation and site records
- CSCS card
Project details
- Start late March
- Duration approximately 10-12 weeks
- Shift pattern 12 day fortnight
- Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm
- Weekend work every second weekend
- Accommodation available if required
- Rates can be discussed
