A highly respected and long-established Scottish property consultancy is looking to appoint a Commercial Valuation Surveyor into their Glasgow office, as they seek to bolster and grow their valuation team. Consideration will be given from Chartered Surveyor (MRICS) through to Director level.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced valuer currently working within a national or regional consultancy who is seeking greater autonomy, stronger client exposure, and a clearer route to senior progression, while remaining within a high-quality professional valuation environment.
The firm has a strong pipeline of secured lending, banking panel, and commercial valuation instructions across Scotland, with growing demand from lender and institutional clients.
The Role
- Commercial valuations for secured lending and bank panel instructions
- Red Book compliant valuations across office, industrial, retail and mixed-use assets
- Portfolio valuation work for lenders and institutional clients
- Development and investment valuations
- Loan security valuations for banks, building societies and debt funds
- Direct client engagement and relationship management
- Business development exposure depending on seniority
Requirements
- MRICS qualified (essential at Senior level and above)
- RICS Registered Valuer
- Strong experience in commercial valuation / secured lending
- Experience working within a consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of Red Book standards
- Excellent report writing and client-facing skills
