A leading multidisciplinary consultancy is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join its Edinburgh office. The role offers the opportunity to lead mechanical building services design on a variety of projects, ranging from commercial offices and education buildings to cultural and public-sector developments.
The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to mentor junior engineers, while delivering innovative and sustainable mechanical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering design across multiple projects from concept through to completion.
- Coordinate closely with architects, electrical engineers, and other disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
- Produce design calculations, specifications, and detailed drawings.
- Ensure designs meet quality, budget, and programme requirements.
- Mentor and support junior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.

About You
- Degree-qualified in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (or related discipline).
- Significant experience in mechanical building services design, ideally in a consultancy environment.
