Are you happy to give a few hours a month to help keep our nurses’ pool cars in top condition? Our nurses rely on our pool cars every single day to get to patients’ homes and provide compassionate care. By helping us keep these vehicles clean, safe and road‑ready, you’ll play a practical but vital role in supporting hospice care in the community.
What you’ll be doing
- Giving our pool cars a monthly clean, inside and out
- Carrying out simple weekly checks (oil levels, tyre pressures, lights, wipers)
- Noting any new scratches or damage
- Helping us prepare vehicles for winter
- Letting our Transport Co‑ordinator know when checks are done
Nothing too technical – just good basic car knowledge and a careful eye.
