We’re currently looking for a Team Manager to lead our supported housing service at Arne Court, in (Laindon) Basildon. This scheme supports people who have experienced multiple disadvantages, including homelessness, trauma, substance use, mental ill health, and involvement with the criminal justice system. The service operates 24/7 and includes five additional supported housing units nearby. At the heart of our work is a simple belief: everyone deserves the chance to flourish. What you’ll do: * Lead and support a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, high-quality services. * Ensure the day-to-day running of the service is safe, effective, and continuously improving. * Build strong, respectful partnerships with local agencies to enhance support for residents. * Help customers move forward into longer-term, sustainable housing. What we’re looking for: * Experience in housing and a strong understanding of statutory and community services. * A background in providing support to people with complex needs and trauma, ideally as a senior support worker or team manager. * Proven ability to motivate and manage a team, ensuring high standards of care and support. * Confidence in assessing and managing individual needs and risks. * A respectful communicator who upholds the dignity and diversity of every individual. * Strong networking skills and the ability to build professional relationships that benefit the people we support. * Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines and achieve goals. * Experience of multi-agency working and liaising with statutory organisations. * A good working knowledge of welfare benefits. * A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
