Are you a compassionate and robust leader with a passion for recovery and inclusion? We’re looking for a Team Manager to lead and inspire a dedicated group of Recovery Workers and Trainees for our Drug & Alcohol Recovery Supported Housing Scheme. This is a unique opportunity to shape a service that supports people on their recovery journey, helping them rebuild their lives and move towards independence. As Team Manager, you’ll provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of the scheme, ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed support is delivered to customers recovering from addiction. You’ll manage and motivate the team fostering a culture of kindness, accountability, and continuous improvement. You’ll work closely with statutory and community partners to ensure customers receive holistic, personalised support that promotes wellbeing, reduces harm, and supports tenancy sustainment. In this role you will work closely with the Service Manager and Head of Service. As you grow in the role, you may be asked to take on responsibility for an additional nearby scheme. This reflects the evolving nature of the service and the opportunity to further develop your leadership and impact across multiple sites. About the role In this role, you’ll lead and inspire a team to deliver person-centred recovery support, ensuring each customer receives tailored, compassionate care. You’ll oversee referrals, assessments, and support planning, while building strong relationships with external partners to enhance outcomes. Your leadership will help maintain a safe, well-managed scheme that meets legal and quality standards, but also utilised effectively. You’ll support staff development, manage performance confidently, and foster a psychologically informed and inclusive environment where both customers and colleagues can thrive. What we’re looking for To be shortlisted for this role, candidates must be able to demonstrate the following in their CV and personal statement: * Experience of managing and motivating teams in supported housing, substance misuse, or social care settings. * Ability to assess and manage complex needs and risks with empathy and professionalism. * Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with dignity and respect and build effective relationships with stakeholders. * Confidence in managing challenging behaviour and promoting positive outcomes. * Excellent time management and organisational skills.
