  • Oversee consultant appointments for structural inspections, review design and construction stage information, and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical input for Safety Case Reports and Gateway submissions, manage structural safety risks including those related to Large Panel System (LPS) buildings, and contribute to maintaining accurate building information.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Repairs, Fire Remediation, and Asset Management to embed structural safety across all interventions, while liaising with the Building Safety Regulator and other external stakeholders.

What you’ll need

  • Chartered Engineer status with significant post-qualification experience.
  • Proven experience in structural engineering for high-rise residential buildings in the UK.
  • Strong understanding of the Building Safety Act 2022, Building Regulations, and associated guidance.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Proficiency in information management tools and familiarity with document management systems such as SharePoint.
