If so, Peabody has an exciting opportunity for you to lead a series of vital property and neighbourhood projects at the Nags Head Estate in Bethnal Green.

As a Neighbourhood Project Manager, you will oversee the planning and execution of multiple property and neighbourhood improvement projects, ensuring effective resident engagement and timely delivery. You will collaborate closely with Peabody teams, industry experts, contractors, and the Nags Head Tenant Association to co-design solutions that meet the needs of the community. Key projects include retrofits, communal space redesigns, launderette and bin store installations, and more.

Skills and experience required:

  • Proven experience in project management within housing/property sector.
  • Project and budget management.
  • Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to property management.
  • Experience of co-designing projects with tenants or the wider community.
  • Experience of effective communication with tenants including implementation of effective communication systems and face to face engagement.
  • Experience of managing retrofits over £3 million for the public sector / housing associations.
  • Experience of consensus decision-making and active listening.
  • Proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Experience of working on PAS 2035 retrofits or similar (desirable).

Qualifications:

  • MRICS, CIOB, Degree or HNC or relevant qualification and/or management experience or equivalent in managing Construction projects in Investment, Repairs and Maintenance.
  • CSCS card, PRINCE2, RIBA, and ARB Desirable.

This role requires a Basic DBS check. Please note this is a 1 year fixed term contract to cover a project and will end 12 months from joining date.
