Neighbourhood Manager (9-Month Fixed-Term Contract) β Help Communities Thrive
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and building strong communities?
As a Neighbourhood Manager at Peabody, you'll be the face of our organisation in local communities, working closely with residents, partners and colleagues to ensure neighbourhoods are safe, well-managed and great places to live.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference by supporting residents, resolving neighbourhood issues and improving customer satisfaction through visible and proactive housing management.
- What you'll be doing
- Deliver a high-quality housing management service across your neighbourhoods.
- Build strong relationships with residents, community groups, local partners and internal teams.
- Manage tenancy and neighbourhood issues, including anti-social behaviour, safeguarding concerns and tenancy breaches.
- Carry out estate inspections, welcome visits and community engagement activities.
- Support residents to access services and achieve positive outcomes.
- Help create safe, sustainable and thriving communities.
- What you'll bring
- Experience delivering excellent customer service within housing, community services or a similarly customer-focused environment.
- Strong communication, relationship-building and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage a varied workload and make sound decisions independently.
- Understanding of housing management, tenancy management or community engagement.
- A passion for improving services and outcomes for residents.
Desirable
- Knowledge of UK housing law relating to residential tenancies.
- CIH qualification or working towards one.
- Community language skills.

This is a field-based role, with around 60% of your time spent out in neighbourhoods supporting residents and communities.
You may occasionally be required to participate in an out-of-hours emergency rota and work flexibly to meet service needs.
This is a fixed-term contract ending on 30 April 2027.
Interviews will be held in person at Westminster Bridge Road on either Wednesday 16 September or Thursday 17 September.
