If you’re reliable, proactive, and assertive, we invite you to become part of our team as a Female Specialist Support Worker in a supported housing scheme for young women aged 18–25, including care leavers and ex-offenders. This is a values-driven role where your commitment to creating a positive impact will truly shine. A Typical Day in the Role Your day begins with a handover from the previous shift, equipping you with all the information you need to confidently support residents. You’ll spend your shift: * Creating a safe and supportive environment through regular building checks, addressing tenancy issues, and promoting wellbeing. * Building trust and fostering independence, helping residents develop essential life skills, maintain tenancies, and work towards their goals. * Facilitating activities and interventions that promote confidence, resilience, and a sense of community. * Managing challenging situations with professionalism, adhering to clear procedures to de-escalate conflicts and ensure safety. Every shift is guided by our established framework and procedures, so you’ll always know what’s required while being empowered to work with initiative and confidence.
