As a Communal Contracts Manager South, you\’ll lead the management of our communal plant schemes, oversee responsive and major repairs, and make sure our Heat Networks run smoothly and efficiently.
Day-to-day, you\’ll manage budgets, ensure compliance, and work with colleagues, contractors, and customers to deliver excellent service. Whether you\’re reviewing performance with partners, resolving customer queries, or driving improvements across 150 schemes, you\’ll play a vital role in shaping the customer experience and delivering value for money.
You\’ll be part of our Mechanical Services Team, collaborating across Peabody and with external stakeholders. If you\’re motivated by problem-solving, service improvement, and delivering results for customers, this is the role for you.
To be successful in this role, you\’re:
- Experienced in managing heat networks, communal plant schemes, and repairs
- Qualified in Commercial Gas (in date) –
applicants must include their Gas Safety registration number in their supportive statement - Skilled in working with ASHPs (Air Source Heat Pumps)
- Confident in budget management and delivering value for money
- Up to date with Health & Safety and relevant legislation
- An excellent communicator who can engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- Customer-focused, with a passion for delivering a great service
- Collaborative, adaptable, and able to find solutions under pressure
